snobby creme brulee

One, two, three he counts

the flabs of my bodies’ sides

five, four, three, two, one he adds

my face’s color slips in red tides

six, seven, eight, nine, ten he says

are my most favorite things to eat

forbidden forgotten forsake

the big fat glutton

Pussy red lipstick stained her teeth

I avoid the paint in courtesy

Streaks of freak blonde n’ brown to brag her youthful remains

I nod in gentle indifference to feed the need of idiot’s efficacy

She says “Good God!” “Oh Lord!” “You’re near!”

“Of what?”

“of chubs here and here”

Only LV’s golden glory she fears

A man is what completes you

A child is your fruit of joy

A family is what will make you

A church will be your stronghold, your Troy.

A home is what will end of you

You are a bottomless pit of “love”

be the woman the billboard says

be the lady he begs you to see

be the girl no one wants to be

Cryptic codes of classic femininity

You must redeem and understand

Patience and affinity towards the humankind and your man

Lessen thy height, thy weight, thy tremendous freight

beyond the brains and on and on the ellipses she remains

Matters are but the ambiguous latters

this poem may not cause a single shatter

Lessen and lessen

reduce and reduce

leave nothing but

ridiculous chatter

you silly old

fat matter.

  1. I suddenly remembered the character of Chaucer on A Knight’s Tale:

“I will eviscerate you in fiction. Every pimple, every character flaw. I was naked for a day; you will be naked for eternity.”
